Trade Stand Rules

For further information with regards to sponsorship and advertising please contact us via email at info@thecollinghamshow.co.uk

The Ploughing Match and Show is an annual event, held on the 3rd Saturday in September each year.
It is a strict policy of the Committee to keep the show rural and the committee reserves the right to refuse an application which is considered inapplicable to an Agricultural/Rural Show.

We would remind you that all exhibitors are to hold current Public Liability Insurance and Food Hygiene Certificates (where applicable) and also have a completed Risk Assessment. All these documents need to be provided with the application for it to be successful.   If any of the documents are not current on Show Day then please send the documents current on date of application and state when new documents will be sent to the Trade Stand Secretary to cover the Show Day.
Once you have applied for your space an invoice will be sent out via email payment. Cheques should be made payable to “The Collingham & District Agricultural Society” or paid via BACS with the reference shown on invoice. Applications will be taken in strict and fair order of receipt. You will receive your Trade Stand Pack detailing your Pitch location on the site and passes early in September.

Please complete the risk assessment and return to admin@thecollinghamshow.co.uk

All Trade Stands are approximately 9m in depth and may be set up the day before the Show.

Ringside/Showground banners may be placed around the Show Site with the approval of the Trade Stand Secretary, and should be erected by 9am show day.  Banners may be given to the Trade Stand Secretary prior to the show to erect.

Food Vendors are not required to pay any extra money on the day from sales. All Food and Hygiene Certificates should be provided for an application to be successful.  The Show Society requests British farmed produce where possible, applications proving this will be looked on more favorably on application.

There will be STRICTLY NO MOVEMENT on the show site between 9am – 5:30pm. You will only be allowed to leave the show site early with the permission of the committee which will only be granted in extreme circumstances and you will need to be escorted off the site by a member of the committee in Hi-Vis.
