Sheep Competition

An appearance payment of £10 per pen of sheep, up to a maximum of 5 entries, will be
paid. Entry Fee - £2

Prizes in each class are 1st - £15, 2nd £10, 3rd £5.

Trophies

The Grammer Silver challenge tray will be awarded for the ‘Best Pen of 3 sheep’ in the show.
The James Crocker memorial bowl will be presented for the ‘Reserve best pen of 3 sheep’ in the show.
The Fin Campbell memorial Trophy will be presented to ‘The best Ram’ in show.
The Brocklebank trophy will be presented to the ‘Reserve best Ram’ in show.

Classes

Class 16 Best Cade lamb with young handler – up to 13 years of age. (Special sheep Show ring)

Class 17 Best 3 cross bred Gimmers suitable for breeding
Class 18 Best 3 cross bred Ewes most suitable for breeding
Class 19 Best 3 pedigree Ewes most suitable for breeding
Class 20 Best 3 cross bred Lambs (not Ram lambs) most suitable for the Butcher (not to be entered in any other class)
Class 21 Best Ram, any breed, any age
No animals to leave the showground until after the grand parade.

The Society, its Officers or Servants, shall not be responsible for any accident, damage or loss, however caused, that may occur to any exhibitor or his servant, or, to any animal, article, or property brought into the Showground, or, while entering or leaving or being carried into or out of the said Showground. Each exhibitor shall be solely responsible for any loss, injury or damage that may be done to or occasioned by, or arising from any animal, article, or property exhibited or brought onto the Showground by him, he shall indemnify and hold harmless the Society from and against actions, suits, expenses and claims on account of or in respect of any such damage or injury which may be caused or occasioned. It is therefore recommended that exhibitors insure against fire and such liabilities as the exhibitor May occur under the Show’s Regulations.
